Project Church Outreach We are members of the independent/restoration movement Christian Church brotherhood and I might add for a good solid biblical reason. We need to keep the independent local church government in place for the local church body but when it comes to evangelizing the world we must team up with other congregations. Would you encourage the people of your congregation to donate the price of a 20 oz. pop, each week for the support of Christian Wings for the World? This amounts to approx. $5.00 a month per person. How much is a soul worth? Could you afford the price of a 20 oz pop a week to help save a soul? Most of us could do this and it would make a positive impact on getting the Gospel to others in the uttermost parts of God's kingdom. If all the people that have heard about CWW would do this, the financial needs of our mission would be met in a short time and we would be able to place planes and pilots in the field to support the missionaries that our brotherhood is already supporting. Many have the idea that what little they can afford wouldn't make any difference so they don't do anything. This brothers and sisters in Christ is a serious mistake, God will use anything you are willing to give to His work. (Everybody thought that somebody would do it somebody thought anybody would do it and you guessed it nobody did it) We must not let this continue to happen in regard to getting God's word to those in remote places. James 4: 17 Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins. MK 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. The Great Commission is a command not an option. Rom: 10:13-15 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." RO 10:14 How, then, can
they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they
believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they
hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can they preach
unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are
the feet of those who bring good news!" |
