Lionel and Sara Smith, founders of CWW, work full-time for the ministry. Sara is vice-president and the office administrator. Lionel is president of the board and in charge of the day-to-day operations of the ministry. Lionel has many qualifications he brings to the ministry.

Lionel Smith qualifications Certified Flight Instructor Certified Flight Instrument Instructor Multi-Engine Instructor Licensed Ground Instructor. Commercial pilot with instrument rating for single-engine land, single-engine sea, and multi-engine land aircraft. Certified Airframe and Power plant mechanic with inspector authorization. Over 12,000 hours of flight time Over 8,000 hours instructing student pilots Graduated mission pilot training in 1993 from New Tribes Missions. Instructor: Paul Dye FAA appointed Accident Prevention Counselor 1973-1998 Pilot since 1963

Sara Smith qualification Wife for over 48 years Mother of 3 wonderful children Very experienced cook/kitchen manager  Very experienced and good at managing people A master of PowerPoint presentations Skilled at many tasks in the office including bookkeeping, paying bills, scheduling, editing of documents brochures etc. Sara has a heart for helping others Sara does much of our scheduling and virtually all of the work in arranging our convention schedules  Most of all pampering and caring for me Sara has hosted several events from women's retreats to hay rides and more.  An important part of Sara's ministry is singing Country Gospel.  Top

 

      Kayla Smith, Is one of the CWW workers 

Kayla is a member of Genisis Baptist Church in West Plains, MO   Kayla also works with handicapped children at the public school in Mountain View, Mo. She is also mission oriented believing that the great commission applies to all of us.  Kayla has been a great help for us in the work of getting Christian Wings for the World to it's current level.  Kayla has worked at our displays at the North American Christian Convention and other places.

        Joe Barker

Joe Barker has served as a Certified Flight Instructor for single-engine aircraft. Joe is available for ground instruction and other services for CWW. Joe is an airline Captain, retired from TWA. He has logged over 24,000 hours of flight time. He started his career in DC-3's and was flying 767's and 757's at retirement..

  Betty Chapman

Betty is a volunteer and she is serving as one of our executive officers.  She is our official Secretary/Treasurer.. Betty's husband, Dan, has helped as a volunteer working with mechanical repairs and operating equipment. They attend the Church of God at Doe Run, MO.
